Founded in 2026, Asheville Pathology Partners was established to provide dependable, high-quality technical component (TC) pathology services to physicians throughout Western North Carolina and beyond.

The laboratory is led by medical director Charles T. Bruker, MD. Dr. Bruker completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He served six years on active duty and four years in the U.S. Navy Reserve, including roles as a surgery intern and submarine and diving medical officer. Following residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Tennessee and fellowship training in hematopathology at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Bruker has built a broad career spanning academic, private, corporate, government, and independent laboratory settings.

Together, Dr. Bruker and the laboratory manager bring more than fifty years of combined experience in pathology laboratory operations.
